The new storage replaces the existing equipment storage prior technology with mechanical drives which will now cover the functions of all company departments (administration, sales, accounting, etc.). Before connecting the subsystem with the productive system, detailed tests have been made. The system at maximum load yielded 150,000 IOPS with average latency less than 1ms !!! After putting into production, the combination of features deduplication and compression amounted to an impressive analogy 3,4:1, which is meaning that, for each 1TB useful capacity of the system, we can store until 5TB real data.
